Paul Eugene Chambers

Chambers, Paul Eugene, age 83 of Sistersville, WV died Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg, WV. He was born on June 10, 1933 in Paden City, WV a son of the late Raymond Paul and Daisy Lazear Chambers. Paul was a retired employee of the former Ormet Corp., Hannibal, OH; a U.S. Army veteran; a member of the Paden City Christian Church; a member of the V.F.W. Post #6327, Sistersville. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and watching his son and grandson race cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Rick Chambers and one sister, Nancy Chaplin. Surviving are his wife, Hollis “Holly” Lemasters Chambers; one son: Ryan (Tammy) Chambers of Sistersville; one daughter: Rhonda Parsons of Sistersville; one brother: Donald (Connie) Chambers of Paden City; three grandchildren: Talan Chambers, Shae` Parsons and Paul “P.J” (Penny) Chambers; two great grandchildren: Alexis and Chris Chambers. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Sistersville where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2017 with Pastor Jeff White officiating. Interment will follow in the Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City with full military graveside services.
