Peggy Jo Mace Thomas

Peggy Jo Mace Thomas, 56, of New Matamoras, OH, passed away July 18, 2011 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born November 25, 1954, a daughter of Mary Flesher Mace and the late Howard Mace. Peggy was a homemaker. She loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She was a Methodist by faith. Peggy is survived by her husband, Roger Thomas; daughter, Leann H. Mace and her fiancé Arron Lasure; sisters, Debra (Mike) Ice of Friendly, Nancy (Steve) Chaplin of Sistersville and Pamela (Richard) Ward of Sardis, OH; brothers, John (Camille) Mace of Sistersville and Howard (Diana) Mace, Jr. of Friendly; grandchildren, Hunter Doggett and Sydni Lasure; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Mittie and John Flesher and paternal grandparents, Howard and Mauda Mace and two nephews, Michael Christain Ice and Christopher Michael Ice. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Williamson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Friendly Cemetery.
