Peggy Mossor

Edith M. “Peggy” Mossor, 71, of Sistersville, WV passed away on April 18, 2013 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV. She was born October 31, 1941 in Ritchie County, WV a daughter of the late John and Lavone Britton. She worked at the Pleasants County Library, St. Marys, WV. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, friend & aunt. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, camping and painting. She was Baptist by faith. She is survived by sister, Gloria Jean Britton, sister-in-law, Emogene Blanton of Belpre, OH, Maxine Lewis of Ellenboro, WV, brother-in-law, Don Mossor of Pennsboro, WV, several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mossor in 2009, son, Tim Mossor, brothers, Rodney, Benny, Ervin Britton and one sister, Jeanette Carlquist. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday afternoon April 21, 2013 at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery of Sistersville. Calling hours will be 4-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
