Philippa Spence Campbell

Philippa Spence Campbell, 89, of Marietta, OH, passed away December 7, 2009 at Marietta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 21, 1920, a daughter of the late Gilbert Baker and Bessie Brown Baker. She was retired from the former A&P Food Store in Sistersville and was a member of the Marietta Church of Christ. She is survived by a son, John R. Miller Spence, Jr., of Marietta, OH; stepson, Oscar Campbell, Jr. of Sarasota, FL and daughter Cindy Morris of Newport, OH; sister, Winnie Marcinko of Reedsville, OH; three grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John R. “Jack” Spence, second husband Oscar Campbell, two sisters, one brother and three infant children at birth. Services will be Wednesday at 12:00 pm until time of service at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Randy Baker officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
