Phyllis J. Williamson

Phyllis J. Williamson, 88, of Sistersville, WV, passed away May 7, 2010 at Sistersville Center. She was born August 5, 1921 in Sistersville, a daughter of the late James M. Light and Della M. Grimm Light. She was a member of the Sistersville Church of the Nazarene and a full time homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Everett Williamson in 1994; grandson, David DeVore in 1977; brother, Robert Light; sisters, Artie Williamson, Martha Light, Delores Williamson, Helen Light, Anna Belle Light and Mary Martin. She is survived by sons, Ronald (Brenda) Williamson of Sistersville, WV and Edward (Beverly) Williamson of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Barbara (Denny) DeVore of Homosassa, FL; brother, Joseph Light of New Matamoras, OH; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the Myers Funeral Home with the Reverend Dennis Shirer officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
