Ralph Coleman, 84, of Sistersville, WV, passed away September 28, 2010 at Sistersville General Hospital. He was born January 2, 1926, a son of the late Eugene Coleman and Agnes Nou Coleman. Ralph was the Meat Manager at Stewart’s Market. He was an Army veteran serving in WWII where he was selected for the Berlin Honor Guard and awarded the Bronze Star while serving in the European Theatre of War as part of the overthrow of Germany. Ralph was also a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Sistersville. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Thomas Coleman of Sistersville; sons, Jeffrey Coleman of Sistersville and Mark (Lisa) Coleman of Williamstown; sisters, Mary Kirchner of Wheeling and Geraldine Duffy of White Plains, NY; grandson, John David Coleman of Williamstown and granddaughters, Katherin Coleman of Williamstown and Mariah Coleman of Sistersville. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Msgr. Samuel Sacus and Deacon Rod Fagert officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-9 at Myers Funeral Home with recitation of the Rosary at 6 pm and Christian Wake Service at 8:30 pm.
