Rebecca Edith Kaul Reef

Rebecca Edith Kaul Reef, 90, of Sistersville, WV, passed away August 11, 2010 at Care Haven of Pleasants County. She was born January 1, 1920, a daughter of the late John Kaul and Emma Bennett Kaul. She was retired from Wells Department Store and a former employee of The Wells Inn. She was also a member of the Martha Washington Chapter #22, Order of the Eastern Star of Sistersville, Sistersville Women’s Club and the Clown Club. Rebecca was a member of the Sistersville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (David) Cross of Sistersville; sister, Margaret Guzell of Burgettstown, PA; grandson, Michael (Tanya) Cross of Sistersville; granddaughter, Jennifer (Brian) Bailey of Mullens, WV; and great-grandson Johnathan Cross of Sistersville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Reef, three brothers and three sisters. Services will be Saturday at 10:30 am at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 7-9 at the funeral home.
