Richard A. Lehew

Lehew, Richard A., age 73, of Sistersville, WV passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Camden-Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV. He was born on October 17, 1942 in Paden City, WV, a son of the late Robert E. and Clarice Robinson Lehew. Richard retired from OSI, Sistersville in Research and Development and Quality Control; received an Associate’s Degree in Chemistry from Marietta College; was a Baptist by faith and was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge, #333, Sistersville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Joanne Hunt and a brother-in-law, Justus Suter. Surviving are his wife, Jane Lewis Lehew; two sons: Warren (Charlene) Lehew of Greensboro, NC and Byron (Jae) Lehew of New Martinsville, WV; one brother: Robert (Dorothy) Lehew of Seabrook, SC; one sister: Laura “Betty” Suter of Paden City, WV; a brother-in-law: Kenneth Hunt of Pursley, WV; five step grandchildren: Jessica, Mollie, Lauren, Asia and Quintin; one step great grandson: Ayden. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville with graveside funeral services to be held at 2:30 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville with Pastor Darrell Mayfield officiating.
