Richard "Nick" Nicholson

Richard "Nick" Nicholson, 88, of Paden City, WV, passed away May 23, 2019 at home. He was born August 24, 1930, in Elm Grove, WV, a son of the late Harvey C. Nicholson and Frances E. Tustin Nicholson. Nick was a former WV State Trooper for 25 years and he was a United States Navy veteran. He loved to hunt and fish and watch the Steelers and WVU football. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Romine Nicholson of Paden City, WV; daughter, Karen (Dave) Emch of New Martinsville, WV; grandchildren, Erin (George) Little of Dallas, GA and Jodi (Noyan) Eyigor of Washington, DC; great-grandchildren, Xander Little and Tessa Eyigor; twenty three nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and seven sisters and brothers-in-law. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey Curtis. As per Nick's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
