Richard "Wes" Smith

Richard W. “Wes” Smith, 61,.of Sistersville, WV passed away on September 30, 2013 at the Sistersville Center Nursing Home. He was born May 23, 1952 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Richard L. and Ruth E. Neely Smith. He was a 1970 graduate of the former Sistersville High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of VFW Post #6327 of Sistersville. He was also a member of Oxford Street Church of Christ of Sistersville He is survived by two sisters, Carla Smith of New Martinsville, WV, Mary (Jim) Baker of Paden City, WV, three nephews, Brian Smith of Morgantown, WV, James Baker and Jordan Baker of Paden City, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents. At his request there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV is assisting the family.
