Rita Jarvis

Rita Gregg Jarvis, 74, of Greenville, SC, formerly of Williamstown, WV, went to her heavenly home in the early morning hours of April 8, 2021. She was born January 31, 1947, in Mountain, WV, a daughter of the late Harold Gregg and Pauline Riggs Gregg. Rita was a 1964 graduate of Tyler County High School and proceeded to obtain a Masters Degree in Nutrition/Healthcare Administration from Marshall University. Rita retired from Nutritional Services at the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department and was an active member of Williams Creek Baptist Church. Rita now joins her husband of nearly 50 years (Glenn) and will be dearly missed by her son; Greg (Shawna) Jarvis of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Glena Jarvis of Savannah, GA and grandchildren Hannah Jarvis and Aaron Jarvis. Visitation will be Monday, April 12, 2021 from 9:30-11:30 am until time of service at noon at Williams Creek Baptist Church, followed by a brief graveside service at Riverview Cemetery, Pastor Mike Horner officiating.
