Robert "Bob" Bowen, Jr.

Robert “Bob” Bowen, Jr., 81, of Sistersville, WV passed away March 29, 2024.  He was born November 7, 1942, in Charleston, WV, son of the late Robert Oliver Bowen, Sr. and Emily Elizabeth Miles Bowen.

Bob was a Methodist by faith.  He graduated in 1964 from Bethany College with a degree in Chemistry and he retired as a Chemist from the former Union Carbide Co.  He was a member of the Sistersville ELKS Lodge #333.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Bowen; children, Brandon (Tera) Kuehne and Jill Kuehne; grandchildren, Brian, Sean and Les; friend Deb and his “buddy” Katie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Bowen.

The family has honored Bob’s wishes for cremation with no services.
