Robert "Bob" Williamson

Robert "Bob" Williamson, 82, of Friendly, WV, passed away February 22, 2022 at Sistersville General Hospital. He was born March 26, 1939, in Friendly, WV, a son of the late Verner D. Williamson, Sr. and Georgia Clark Williamson. Bob lived his entire life on Friendly Hill, where he enjoyed gardening and sharing his bounty with his neighbors.He was member of the Friendly United Methodist Church and looked forward to attending every Sunday with his church family.He was a loving and devoted Dad and Pap to his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his son, Bobby Williamson of Huntington, WV; daughters, Angela Kay (Chappriel) Pitt of Kinston, NC, Michele (Shane) Smith of Morgantown, WV and Carrie Denvir of Huntington, WV and grandchildren, Shawn Williamson, Alex Estep, Morgan Williamson, Brandon Smith, Kiara Jones, Dominick Smith, Isabel Denvir and Cameron Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric Williamson; brother, Verner "Don" Williamson and sister, Mary Hadley. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 25, 2022 at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Andrew Tennant officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview-Williamson Cemetery.
