Day, Jr., Robert E., age 79, of Sistersville, WV died Monday, September 18, 2017 at Genesis of Sistersville. He was born on October 2, 1937 in Jolo, WV, a son of the late Robert E. Day, Sr. and Maudie Bell Henniger Day. Robert was a retired Construction Supervisor and an Air Force Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, James, Clayton, Mack, Mason, Rod and Roy Day four sisters; Mae Ervin, Retha Day, Edith Billings and Sue Dunn. Survivors include five sons: Bryan, Michael, Bill, Richard and Fred Day; grandchildren: Samantha Kyle, Mack Day, Bryan Day, Jr., Maranda Morris, Michel Tucker, Cheyanna Day, Alexandria Day, Maisy Day, Clayton Day, Vanessa Day, Jessica Day, Melissa Day, Melinda Day, Shandi Campbell, Cory Williamson, Emily Day, Kennedy Mercer, Chris Leek, Catlyn Givens, Michelle Martin and Jacob Workman; two sisters: Naomi Day and Marie Hull. Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Sistersville, WV. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
