Robert Lee "Pap" Cottrill

Cottrill, Robert Lee “Pap” age 76, of Waverly, WV died March 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born on May 4, 1941 in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Lynn Cottrill and Mildred Jordan Cottrill Murphy. Robert retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways where he was a heavy equipment operator. He loved to go camping and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Harris Cottrill in 2005; an infant daughter, Roberta Cottrill; several brothers and sisters. Surviving are two daughters: Cheryl Maston and Tina (James) Hicks all of Waverly; three sisters: Patricia Komar of Milwaukee, WI, Vickie Murphy of Parkersburg, WV and Margie Kovach of Florida; one brother: Rickie (Andrea) Murphy of Columbia, WV; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm Tuesday with Pastor Rickie Murphy officiating at the Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV.
