Robert Junior Sine

Robert Junior Sine, 87, of Sistersville, passed away March 23, 2014 at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center. He was born April 19, 1926, in Tyler County, a son of the late Robert James Sine and Jessie Lee Summers. Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #760 and the VFW Post #9930. He retired from Ormet Corporation after fifteen years. He was a member of the Union Chapel Church of Christ. He also loved gardening and farming. He is survived by his wife, of sixty-two years, Betty Sine of Sistersville; daughter, Donna Sue (Mike) West of New Martinsville; sons, Jim (Kathy) Sine of Middlebourne and Mike Sine of Sistersville; three grandsons, David (Missy) West, Bobby (Aimee) West and Scott (Courtney) West; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kayli, Madison, Avery and Logan; several nieces and nephews and brother-in-law, Raymond Darnell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, James Clise and Archie Devault. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Parsons officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home.
