Robert "Bob" Virgil Peckens

Robert “Bob” Virgil Peckens, 83, of Sistersville, passed away February 3, 2012 at Camden Clark Hospital. He was born July 2, 1928, a son of the late Joshua Peckens and Sarah Moore Peckens. Bob was a glassworker and a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Lucas Peckens; son, David (Marna) Peckens of Duffy, OH; daughters, Judy White of Paden City and Roberta (Wade) Wilson of Parkersburg; brothers, Donald Peckens and Jackie Peckens of St. Marys; sister, Dorothy Thomas of Newport, OH; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist John Veyon officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
