Robert "Bobby" Wells

Robert D. “Bobby” Wells, 60, of Shiloh Community, Friendly, WV passed away, May 13th, at UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born Dec. 22, 1950 in Sistersville, WV a son of the late Gordon D. and Grethel Brewer Wells. Bobby was a 1969 graduate of Sistersville High School, he was a member of the Tyler Co. 911 Advisory Board and Office of Emergency Services. He was an avid Ham radio operator and he was a charter member of the Tyler Co. Amateur Radio Association. Bobby had served in the US Army Reserve in New Martinsville for 10 years and he had worked for Coca-Cola for 33 years. Bobby had volunteered with several organizations throughout the community and county. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rebecca “Becky” Wells, one son, Brent (Heather) Wells of Graham, NC, and one daughter, Jaclyn Wells of Gibbon Glade, PA. In addition to his parents he was preceded by one brother, Gregory A. Wells. Services will be held Tuesday, May 17 at 11 AM at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV with Pastor Bill Williamson officiating. Interment will be in Wasp Cemetery, Arvilla, WV.
