Roger L. Billiter

Roger L. Billiter, 68, of Sistersville, WV, passed away June 2, 2011 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born March 1, 1943 in Paden City, WV a son of the late Floyd Billiter and Helen Hayes Billiter Carney. Roger was a retired millwright with Ormet Corporation. He was a graduate of Paden City High School. He was an avid hunter and farmer and he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sistersville. Roger is survived by his wife of 33 years, Delores Hamilton Billiter; sons, Roger L.H. (Dawn) Billiter of Middlebourne and Rodney (Kenya) Billiter of Friendly; daughter, Diane (Brian) Corrigan of Hannibal, OH; sister, Judy (James) Smith of Sistersville; brother, Ronald Billiter of Paden City; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Albert D. Carney, brother, David Billiter and granddaughter, Hannah Billiter. Services will be Saturday at 10:30 am at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Richards officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at the family farm, Rocking Chair Angus Farm.
