Roma D. Folger Ash, 74, of Ash Lane, Sistersville passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Harmar Place Rehabilitation Center, Marietta, OH. She was born July 22, 1936 in Middlebourne, WV a daughter of the late Fred and Virginia Woodburn Folger. She was a 1954 graduate of Tyler County High School and was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was a member of the Bens Run Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for many years. She also served as a volunteer EMT for the Friendly Emergency Squad. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald R. Ash, sons, Scott Ash and Brent (Jill) Ash all of Sistersville, daughter, Kathy (David) Heater of Belpre, OH, two precious granddaughters, Amanda Bennell and Katie Ash, sisters, Jean (Kenny) Minor of Bay Town, TX, Beverly Jo Foreman of Niagara Falls, Canada, brother, Paul (Darlene) Folger of Ft. Mill, SC, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday, May 4 at 11 A.M.at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV with Emanuel Daugherty officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville. Calling hours will be on Monday from 6 to 8 P.M. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
