Ronald A. Reed

Ronald A. Reed, 67, of Sistersville, WV, passed away March 27, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 1, 1943, a son of the late Ross and Ruth Hissom Reed. He was a 1961 graduate of Sistersville High School, a U.S. Navy veteran, and he attended the Pursley Church of Christ. He was retired from the American Cyanamid/Cytec plant in Belmont, WV after 34 years of service and he owned and operated his own business, Reed Construction. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Buck Reed, two sons, Steven (Robin) Reed, Mike Reed all of Sistersville, and four grandchildren, Stephanie and Dillon Reed, and Sydney and Jace Reed. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 1 P.M. at the Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating. Interment will be in Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City, WV. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
