Roy Ross Miller

Roy Ross Miller, 65, of Oil Ridge Road, Sistersville, W.Va. died June 2, 2008, at Sistersville General Hospital. He was born Jan. 10, 1943, in Sistersville, W.Va., a son of the late Rodney E. and Ruby Bowen Miller. He retired from RJF International of Marietta, formerly BF Goodwrench, was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of the First Christian Church, Sistersville, member of VFW Post 6327, Sistersville, and member of Elks Lodge 333. He is survived by his wife, Nancy J. Henderson Miller; son, Benjamin R. Miller, of Vienna, W.Va.; two grandsons, Jonathan Miller and Malachi Miller; brother, Jim L. (Cathy) Miller of Sistersville, W.Va.; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lyn-del Huffman. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, with James Willison officiating. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Military services at the funeral home will be conducted by VFW Post 6327, Sistersville, VFW Post 4634, New Martinsville, American Legion Post 67, Sistersville, American Legion Post 86, Paden City, and American Legion Post 28, New Martinsville.
