Russell "Jim" James Blatt

Russell J. “Jim” Blatt, 68, of Sistersville, WV, passed away May 31, 2011 at Sistersville General Hospital. He was born September 28, 1942, in New Martinsville, WV, a son of Doretta Blatt Billeter. Jim is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lauer Blatt of 48-1/2 years; daughters, Brenda Kay (Christopher) Kile of Dayton, OH and Sherry L. (Douglas) Michael of Morgantown, WV and son, Russell J. (Mamie) Blatt, II, of Sistersville; sister, Ilene Harlan of Paden City, one brother, Glen Tarbett of Paden City, two step-brothers, Steve Billeter of Paden City, Joe Billeter of Florida and four grandchildren, Christopher M.J. Kile, Alexia D. Kile, Logan Michael and Chantry Michael. He was preceded in death by one step-brother, David Billeter. Services will be Thursday at 1:00 pm at Paden City Christian Church on Main Street with Ron Crowe officiating.
