Ruth Billiter

Ruth Joann Shreves Billiter, 79, of Sistersville, WV (formerly of Friendly), passed away February 21, 2010 at OVMC. She was born September 6, 1930 in Sistersville, a daughter of the late James A. Shreves and Flossie B. Rutter Shreves. She was a Grandparent Volunteer at Sistersville Elementary School and a member of the Paden City Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur, Homer, Raymond, Herbert and Bernard Shreves and infant sister, Betty Louise Shreves. She is survived by sons, Donald (Tami) Billiter, Jr. of Paden City, WV, Timothy E. Billiter of Gig Harbor, WA and Michael (Lynn) E. Billiter of Athens, AL; and daughter, Jacque (Tim) Moore of St. Albans, WV; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Shreves of Delavan, WI and Roy Shreves of Moundsville, WV; sisters, Kathleen Lough of East Liverpool, OH, Carolyn Davis of Columbus, OH and Mary Rea of Sistersville, WV. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 with the funeral Tuesday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Dale Dudgeon officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
