Ruth E. Smith

Ruth E. Smith, 82, of Sistersville, WV, passed away June 17, 2011 at home. She was born July 3, 1928, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Harold Neely and Alfretta Tippins Neely. She was a homemaker, a member of the Oxford Street Church of Christ in Sistersville and a member of the lunch gang at the Dairy Queen. Ruth is survived by her, son, Richard Wesley Smith of Fairmont, WV; daughters, Carla Lee Smith of New Martinsville and Mary R. Baker of Sistersville; four grandchildren, Brian Smith, James Baker, Jordan Baker and Mariana Aragao; three nieces and one nephew. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Smith, two brothers and one sister. Visitation will be Monday from 10-12 with funeral beginning at noon at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
