Sally Marie Oberdick, 78, of Paden City, passed away April 9, 2021 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born December 5, 1942, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph Dalrymple and Eva Dalrymple Callihan. Sally was a graduate of Sistersville High School and a member of the former Zion Methodist Church.She retired from Perkins Oil & Gas after 25 years.Family meant everything to her and her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she was a huge fan ofJudge Judy.Sally and her late husband, Jack, were foster parents for several years through the Children's Home Society.They made a huge impact on so many young lives. She is survived by son, Aaron Matthew (Isabel) Oberdick of Bad Boll, Germany; daughters, Laura Marie (Tim) McFadden of Paden City, WV, Angela (Joe) Anderson of Paden City, WV and Eva Denise Rose of Paden City, WV; brothers, Matthew and Michael Dalrymple; grandchildren, Maranda, Misti, Veronica, Savannah, Malakai, Makiah, Kyle, Julie, Audra, Jalen and Kamron and 20 great-granchildren. Forty-two years ago, Sally was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Oberdick; brother, Robert Dalrymple and grandsons, Robbie and Nakoa. Special thanks to Journey Hospice. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 4-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home.Funeral services will be Thursday from 11-1 until time of service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Marty Coffey officiating.Interment will be at Zion Cemetery.
