Sandy Danser Furbee

Sandy Danser Furbee, 72, of Friendly, WV, passed away March 16, 2019 at Pine View Nursing and Rehab. She was born November 2, 1946, in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of Alta Donahue and the late Wiley Danser, Jr. Sandy was a retired Special Education Teacher with Ritchie County Schools. She loved gardening, working puzzles and playing candy crush. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold Furbee of Friendly, WV; sons, Kevin (Lori) Furbee of Satellite Beach, FL and Tony (Deanna) Furbee of Sunbury, OH; daughters, Lori Strickland and Tia Furbee, both of Friendly, WV; sisters, Donna (Bernie) Johnson of Friendly, WV and Jeannie (Jack) Floyd of The Villages, FL and brother, Richard (Darlene Henderson) Danser of Meadville, WV; brother-in-law, Dale Furbee of Friendly, WV; fourteen grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her "Puppy". A memorial visitation will be Friday from 12-1 pm until time of service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Darrell Mayfield and Pastor Bill Dawson officiating at the First Baptist Church of Sistersville.
