Sara Ann Mcmillan

Sara Ann McMillan, 73, of Middlebourne, WV, passed away June 20, 2016. She was born July 25, 1942 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of the late George Shank and Dorothy (Lauer) Shank. Sara was a homemaker. She made baby blankets and booties for babies in need through the Senior Citizen Center in Middlebourne. She was a Campfire leader and den mother and she was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard, OH. She is survived by her son, George (Samantha) McMillan of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Nina (Darrell Snyder) VanMeter of Middlebourne, Lisa McMillan of Girard, OH and Rebecca McMillan (Joseph Miller) of Sistersville; brothers, Walter Shank of Youngstown, OH and Michael (Shawntel) Shank of Niles, OH; sisters, Patricia (Ken) Davis and Kathyrne Carl of Girard, OH and Valerie (Lee) Rader of Flatrock, MI; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John McMillan; sisters, Denise Johansen and Victoria Lockaby; grandsons, Ian McMillan and Kurtis McMillan and great-grandson, Rhiley McMillan.
