Sarah L. Davis

Sarah L. Davis, 108, of Middlebourne, WV, passed away November 12, 2010 at her home. She was born June 9, 1902 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Frank Myers and Samantha Shinn Myers. She was a member of the Burt Church of Christ. Sarah was also known as the oldest living person in West Virginia. Sarah is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Davis in 1986; brothers, Louis Myers, Leonard Myres and Lester Myres; and sister, Martha Gorrell. Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with David Haught officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
