Sharon Kay Stone

Sharon Kay Stone, 65, of Sistersville, WV, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Wetzel County Hospital.

She was born August 10, 1959 in Sistersville, a daughter of Dorothy Hamilton McDougal (Bernard) and the late Arthur McCullough. Sharon was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sistersville. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds, especially hummingbirds.

In addition to her mother, Sharon is survived by three daughters, Patricia Fletcher (Jeremy), Melissa Cottrell and Kimberly Wells (PJ); sister, Nancy Fiore (Butch); three brothers, Jim McCullough (Joyce), Michael McCullough (Raychelle) and Bobby McCullough; and her four grandchildren, who referred to her as “Dee”, JD Wells, Kaylee Cottrell, Landon Fletcher and Cara Jo Fletcher.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Stone; brother, Thomas McCullough and son-in-law, Douglas Cottrell.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Wednesday.
