Shirley Shreves Roberts

Shirley Shreves Roberts, 68, of Paden City, WV, passed away July 29, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born April 29, 1951 in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of Madyline Shreves of Sistersville, WV and the late Harold Calvin Shreves. Shirley worked at the Dairy Queen in Sistersville for over twenty years and she was a member of the Sistersville Church of the Nazarene. She loved working puzzles, coloring and crocheting blankets for the kids in the family as well as many others. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jerry Roberts of Paden City, WV; daughters, Shellie (Jimmy) Higgins of Paden City, WV and Joann (James) Dotson of West Frankfort, IL; siblings, Patsy (Allen) Shortridge of Palm Coast, FL, Sharon (Tom) Phillips of Sistersville, WV, Harold "Bill" (Ruth) Shreves of Sistersville, WV and Karen (Charlie) Floyd of Huntington, WV; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the Sistersville Church of the Nazarene with Allen Shortridge and Charlie Floyd officiating. Visitation will be from 11-2 pm and 4-7 pm on Thursday at the Church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at myersfuneralhomewv.com.
