Susan Thomas

Susan Thomas, 75, of Sistersville, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior and with the angels in heaven June 29, 2012 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born November 23, 1936, a daughter of the late Gail Smith and Mary Pauline Haught Smith. Susan was a homemaker and she was a Methodist by faith. She was a farm girl and loved milking dairy cows on her father’s farm. She loved gardening and canning. She later grew up and married Arthur John Thomas and had three lovely girls. She loved her girls and the flowers that they grew. She loved her favorite country singer, Willie Nelson. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Thomas of Sistersville; daughters, Diane Michelle Thomas and Jennifer Kay Thomas of Sistersville; brothers, David Smith of Wellston, OH and Patrick Smith of Sistersville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tamara Marie Thomas in 2008. Services will be Saturday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Don Thomas officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Archer’s Chapel. Online condolences may be offered at myersfuneralhomewv.com.
