Terry L. Efaw, 49, of Paden City, W.Va., died June 13, 2008, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. He was born Oct. 11, 1958, in Sistersville, W.Va., a son of the late James Efaw and Doris Lee Grimes Efaw Dougherty of Paden City, W.Va., and stepfather, George Dougherty. He was a U.S. Army veteran, member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Paden City, a Paden City Volunteer Fireman for 19 years, member of Paden City Eagles Club and member of the National Rifle Association. He was a loving father, husband, son and grandfather that will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Lewis Efaw; daughters, Ashley Efaw of Paden City, W.Va., Jennifer Efaw of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Shannon Howard of Terra Haute, Ind.; brothers, David Efaw of Hannibal, Ohio, and Tony Efaw of Hampton, Va.; sisters, Penny Howard of Sistersville, W.Va. and Kim Weiss of Bellaire, Ohio; four stepbrothers; two grandchildren, Nathan Jones and Savanna Houchin; and a large extended family. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Daniel Efaw. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Sistersville, W.Va. with the Rev. Darrel Gooden officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville, with military graveside services. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with a fireman’s service at 7 p.m. Thursday.
