Tim Lewis

Timothy Eugene “Tim” Lewis, 38, of Middlebourne, WV passed away September 2, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born October 23, 1973 in Wetzel County, WV a son of Floyd and Agnes Gulley Lewis of Middlebourne. He was a 1992 graduate of Valley High School and he was supervisor of the mechanic shop at the Wetzel County Landfill. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding ATV’s and camping. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé and companion of 16 years, Kristy Freeland, one son, Timothy Lewis, Jr., one daughter, Ashley Lewis, two brothers, Floyd (Opal) Lewis, Jr. of Galmish, Wetzel Co, WV, Allen Lewis of New Martinsville, WV, two uncles, Donald (Sharon) Lewis of Middlebourne, Ernst Gulley of Middlebourne, two aunts, Carol Gulley of Middlebourne, and Juanita Hartley of Parkersburg, WV. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Homer Gulley and Dorothy Chutes, paternal grandparents, Lloyd Lewis and Mary Pittman Lewis, and one aunt, Betty Billiter. Services will be held Thursday, September 6 at 1 PM at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV with Pastor Bud Bassett officiating. Interment will follow in Garrett Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
