MILLER, Timothy White, 73, of Sistersville, WV, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 30, 2013, at the St. Joseph’s Campus of the CCMC in Parkersburg, WV. Tim was born in New Martinsville, WV, on October 31, 1940, the son of the late R.F. ”Doc” and M.E. “Libby” Miller. He was a graduate of Paden City High School and Miami University of Ohio. After teaching for over 20 years in California, he retired and moved back to his West (By God) Virginia home. As an avid golfer, he enjoyed teaching youth and sharing his knowledge and passion about the game he loved. As a dedicated member of the Sistersville Country Club, he was committed to promoting its success and the value to the community. He had a close relationship with God. It was a joy and an honor for him to share God’s love and God’s word with his church family at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Sistersville, WV. He is survived by two daughters, Ann (Larry) Helmick of Sistersville and Laura (Paul) McCall of Morgantown, WV; five grandchildren, Alexis, Jayden, Devan Helmick and Vanessa (Aaron) Matthews all of Sistersville and Liam McCall of Morgantown; two sisters, twin Judy (Dominic) Austin of Lake Elsinore, CA and Betsy (Dan) Elliott of Paden City, WV; a nephew Ken (Jasmine) Rea of Collingswood, NJ and two great nieces Cameron and Kordelia Rea of Collingswood, NJ. He is also survived by two brother-in-laws, two sister-in-laws and several nieces and nephews in California. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 20 years, Sandra Hughes Miller, a daughter, Sarah Jo Miller and a brother, Richard Frederick Miller II. He will be missed by all who knew him. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 2, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home. Services will be held at the Sistersville First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, December 3, at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
