Tom E. Stewart

Thomas E. “Tom” Stewart, 55, of Bruceton Mills, WV passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born December 31, 1957 in Sistersville, WV a son of Sue Stewart of Sistersville and the late Joe Stewart. He graduated Sistersville High School in 1976 and Fairmont State College in 1980 where he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He worked at Mon Power / First Energy Power Station in Fort Martin, WV. In addition to his mother, Sue Stewart, he is survived by his brother, Jim (Jill) Stewart of Ona, WV, sister, Jeni (Jerry) Lantz of Philippi, WV, nephew, Dustin Stewart, niece, Alissa Stewart Hinchman and longtime friend, Pat Yerby of Berwyn, MD. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Stewart in 2011. Services will be held Wednesday, August 28 at 2 PM at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV with Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Friendly Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 Noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association, North-Central WV Chapter, 444 Liberty Avenue, Suite 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
