Una Hamlet

Una Hamlet, 88, of Sistersville, WV, passed away October 23, 2011 at home. She was born April 30, 1923, in Blairsville, GA, a daughter of the late Benjamine Hill and Bessie Mae Nichols Hill. Una was a caregiver who opened her home and heart to those in need. She was a member of Buck Run Church of Christ. She is survived by her, daughters, Sandra (Craig) Bassett of Sistersville, Geraldine (Roy) Schulert of Rochester Hills, MI and adopted daughter, Vicky Gibbons of Sistersville; son, Dennis (Billie) Kindziera of Johnson City, TN; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer Hamlet, sons, David Teague, Clifford Teague and Donald Teague, daughter, Sonya Kindziera and granddaughter, Vicki Schulert. Services will be Saturday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Lay Pastor Bill Forbes officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Middlebourne Cemetery.
