Velma Leek-Smith

Velma Leek-Smith, 66, of Belmont, WV, passed away, April 22, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born April 14, 1953, in Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late Robert Stanley and Geraldine White Moffitt. Velma was a retired Aide at the former Colin Anderson Center. She is survived by her fiancé, David Riggs of Belmont, WV; sons, Raymond "Buster" (Jessica) Leek of Middlebourne, WV, Keith Leek of Florence, SC and Kevin Leek of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Debbie (David) Craig of Belmont, WV; sisters, Joyce Peckens of Sistersville, WV and Medeana Long of Ravenswood, WV; thirteen grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Sonny" Leek; brothers, Ricky Moffitt and David Moffitt and sister, Cathy Moffitt.
