Wanda L. Lemley, 69, of Sistersville, WV, passed away June 25, 2012 at Sistersville General Hospital after eighteen years of a courageous battle of numerous health issues. She was born June 17, 1943, in Fairmont General Hospital, Fairmont, WV, a daughter of Warda Rohanna Stetz and the late Walter Stetz of Mannington, WV. Wanda was a member of the Pursley Church of Christ. She graduated from Mannington High School in 1961 in Mannington, WV. Wanda was a devoted wife and homemaker. She was very active with the SHS Band Boosters and won the SHS Band “Sparky” Award in 1993. She is survived by her husband, Carl W. Lemley of Sistersville; son, Michael (Barbara) Lemley of Marysville, OH; daughters, Christine Lemley of Potomac Falls, VA and Nancy (David) Prigga of Sistersville; grandchildren, Dylan and Haley Lemley; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Lemley of Hundred; sisters, Wilma Ornduff of Hundred and Carol (Robert) Gorby of New Martinsville; brothers-in-law, John (Sherry) Lemley of Burton and Bill (Jeanne) Lemley of Hundred and loved by nieces and nephews, Bryan (Melanie) Gorby, Cindy (Randy) Adams, Greg (Cindy) Gorby, Billy (Sierra) Lemley and Melinda Lemley. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Wayne Lemley of Hundred; brother-in-law, George Ornduff of Hundred and nephew, Chester Ornduff of Hundred. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 am with friends being received at 10:00 am at the Pursley Church of Christ with Evangelist Tom Butterfield officiating.
