Warren V. Bowen

Bowen, Warren V., 85, of Cow House Road, Sistersville, WV, died September 11, 2009, in Liza's Place Valley Hospice Center, Wheeling, WV. He was born September 13, 1923, in Paden City, WV, son of the late Sherman D. Bowen and Olive Lumbattis Bowen. He retired from Ormet Corp., was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of the Oxford Street Church of Christ, Sistersville. He is survived by son Thomas Bowen of Sistersville, WV; daughter Kathy Miedel of Morristown, PA; granddaughter Mariam Yacub of Hartville, OH; step-grandsons Stephen Miedel of Bellaire, OH and Michael Miedel of Moundsville, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Margaret Nell Loy Bowen in 1996; daughter Cheryl Vaughn Lewellyn; and brother Howard Bowen. Graveside service at Friendly Cemetery, Friendly, WV, Monday, September 14, 2009, at 1 pm with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials to Journey Hospice, 314 S.
