William "Bill" Ingram

July 16, 1932 — February 13, 2024

William “Bill” Ingram, 91, of Sistersville, WV passed away February 13, 2024 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 16, 1932 in Sistersville, WV, the son of the late Paul Ingram and Rachel Tracy Ingram.

Bill was a member of the Pursley Church of Christ and he was a very integral part of the farming community, having been a third-generation dairy farmer and owner of Ingram Farms.  He enjoyed going to tractor pulls and antique tractor shows.  He was a founding member of the Tyler County 4-H Foundation and most notedly, he was recognized in 2022 by the West Virginia Agriculture and Forestry Hall of Fame for his outstanding contributions to the agricultural life of West Virginia.

He is survived by his four children, Tracy (Bill) Fletcher, Tim (Mary) Ingram, Marsha (Arlen) Wells, and Sara (Neal) Soles all of Sistersville, WV; grandchildren, Julia, Jessa, Lillian, Aaron, Amber, Kassi, Eli, Ethan, Neal and Mason and great-grandchildren, Mya, Ryen, River, Landon, Sully and Niko.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Baker Ingram; sister, Sue Waite and brother, Jim Ingram.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 2-6 pm at Myers Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Monday, February 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Ethan Kirl officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family is requesting memorial contributions to your local 4-H Club or FFA Organization.
