William "Bill" Stewart

William "Bill" Stewart, 80, of Sistersville, WV, passed away on August 27, 2022 at home. He was born February 9, 1942, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Clarence Stewart and Hattie Matheny Stewart. Bill was a United States Air Force veteran and a graduate of St. Mary's class of 1960.He was the owner of Stewart's Market in Sistersville for several years, enjoyed golfing and was a longtime member of the Sistersville Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his son, Richard Stewart of St. Mary's; grandchildren, Mitchell Stewart, Maverick Stewart, Ashley Winston and Miranda Stewart; thirteen great-grandchildren and sisters, Sara Edgar and Kimberly Furr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Stewart; son, Kenneth Stewart; granddaughter, Krista Stewart and brother, Bob Stewart.
