William Homer Taylor

William Homer Taylor, 89, of St. Marys, WV, formerly of Tallmadge, OH, passed away July 11, 2015 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born November 26, 1925, in Grafton, WV, a son of the late Homer Taylor and Veda Pifer Taylor. William was a United States Navy veteran serving in World War II. He worked and retired from Ametek as an Electrical Engineer and he attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. He is survived by a son, Michael Taylor of California; sister, Vivian Dix of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and close friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Stevens Taylor in 2008; daughter, Connie Taylor in 2014 and sister, Marian Jeffries in 1990. There will be a memorial service at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Albright, WV on August 1, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
