Wilma Jean Delancey

Wilma Jean DeLancey, 88, of Sistersville, WV daughter of the late Geno Moats and Herbert Bruce Sinnett went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 22, 2021 surrounded by love. She was born March 24, 1932 in Harrisville, WV. She was a graduate of Harrisville High School and a member of Sistersville Baptist Church. Wilma is survived by her husband Clarence "Buss" DeLancey of 70 years. They shared a love that most couples dream of and he was beside her through it all. Surviving are two sons, Edward (Brenda) DeLancey of Weirton and Jeffrey (Maryann) DeLancey of Sistersville; grandchildren, Edward (Susan) DeLancey of Texas, Jennifer (Jeremy) Coburn of Missouri, Amanda (Michael Joe) Hayes of Pennsboro, Angela (Michael) Gehrig of Hannibal, Brandon Delong of Big Run, great grandchildren Alex, Eric, Nick, Ashley, Meagan, Dustin (Jessica), Dalton, Brayson, Mikayla, and Ethan; great great granchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by a stepmom who raised her, Cora Sinnett; siblings, Augustine, Chester, Edward, Herbert, Denver, Orval, Geraldine, and Betty; a son, Randall DeLancey; and a great grandson, Riley Sky Hayes. Abiding her wishes there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be conducted, Monday, January 25, 2021 at Harrisville IOOF Cemetery.
