Wilma Lee Wise

Wilma Lee Wise, 71, of Friendly, WV, passed away, April 30, 2019 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born March 17, 1948, in Pleasants County, WV, a daughter of the late Brady Dalrymple and Hilda Barnhart Dalrymple. Wilma loved spending time with her children and never went a day without speaking to each of them and she was a blessing to everyone. She was devoted to her family, enjoyed working in her flower bed, watching hummingbirds and playing with her little dogs, Bambi and Chloe. She was also a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Allan) Stoops of Friendly, WV; sons, Pat (Michele) Wise, of Friendly, WV, Michael (Crystal Perine) Wise, of Sistersville, WV and Brian Wise of Bens Run, WV; sisters, Betty (Glen) Joshlin of Ripley, MS and Penny (Michael) Stokes of Friendly, WV; grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew and Jeremy Dawson; Evan, Logan and Carolyn Wise; great-grandchild, Caleb Dawson and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wise in 2013. There will be a graveside service on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Friendly Cemetery.
