Yvonne "Bonnie" Beaver

Yvonne "Bonnie" Beaver, 82, of Friendly, WV, passed away on October 6, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born June 7, 1939, in Friendly, WV, to the late Encil Mathess and Carrie Monroe Mathess. Bonnie retired from the former Consolidated Aluminum Corporation.She was an Operator and a fork truck driver.She enjoyed carpentry and crafting with her sisters, Sharon and Sandra, singing and playing the guitar.She was a 1957 graduate of Parkersburg High School and she was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Sistersville. She is survived by children, Cindy Welch of West Union, WV, J. Scott (Darlene) Beaver of Sistersville, WV and Charlotte Ebert of Sistersville, WV; sisters, Cleone Fansler, Ione Clark, Barbara Shreve, Sharon Lemasters and Sandra Shreves and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Beaver; brother, George Mathess and sisters, Delores Williams, Ruby Fiest and Edith Bolen. Visitation will be Monday, October 11, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 PM at Myers Funeral Home.Pastor Darrell Mayfield will be officiating the service.Interment will be at the Beaver Family Cemetery.
