Barbara A. Shuman

Barbara A. Shuman, 74, of Sistersville, WV, passed away September 16, 2016 at OVMC. She was born March 4, 1942, in Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late Woodrow Horner and Mary Young Horner. Barbara was a homemaker and loved raising her family. She was a member of the Oxford Street Church of Christ and she was also a member of the Laurel Twig. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Horner. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ross Shuman of Sistersville, WV; sons, Randy (Angela) Shuman of St. Petersburg, FL and Matt (Vicki) Shuman of St. Petersburg, FL; daughter, Rebecca (Michael) Lollathin of Clarington, OH; siblings, Mary Jo Price of Paden City, Lemoyne Horner of Proctor, Martha Arrick of Proctor, Sharon Henthorn of New Martinsville and Linda Hix of Lombard, IL and grandchildren, Tiffany Shuman, Jacob Shuman, Nathan Shuman and Miranda Shuman, all of St. Petersburg, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to New Martinsville Dialysis, 3 East Benjamin Drive, New Martinsville, WV 26155. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home.
