Janet "Molly" R. Patterson

Janet R. "Molly" Patterson, 60, of Sistersville, WV, passed away May 16, 2016 at home. She was born May 21, 1955, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Dr. Stanley R. Patterson and Dorthea Edgell Patterson. Janet was a dental hygienist and she was a member of the Sistersville First Presbyterian Church where she participated in Sunday School and Bible study. She was a member of the Sistersville BPOE Elks #333 and the VFW Post #6327. She was also a 1973 graduate of Sistersville High School. She was known as "Molly" to her biker friends. She is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Lucas of Sistersville; brother, Shawn Patterson of McHenry, MD; grandchildren, Coleton Ryan Forrester and Lillian Jo Lucas of Sistersville; special friends, Sy Kimball and Janet Glotfelty; niece, Melissa Mathias and nephew, Jason Patterson. There will be a visitation from 2-4 pm followed by a memorial service at the Sistersville First Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 4:00 pm with Reverend Colleen Griffith officiating.
