Preston Ferrell

Preston Ferrell, 69, of Middlebourne, WV, passed away on October 4, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born December 9, 1951, in Pennsboro, WV, to the late Densel Ferrell and Esther Jack Ferrell. Preston retired as a Bus Operator for the Tyler County Board of Education with over 25 years of service.He had a great love of the Lord attending the Crossroads Open Air Sanctuary.He, enjoyed woodworking, landscaping and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Connie Byers Ferrell; sons, Mike (Trish Smith) Ferrell of Middlebourne, WV and Danny (Maggie) Fisher of Middlebourne, WV; daughters, Kelly (Timothy) Myers of New Martinsville, WV and Krystal (Jeremy) Burton of Bridgeport, WV; brothers, Allen (Loranna) Ferrell and Larry Ferrell; sister, Angela Ferrell; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zachary, Shianne, Faith, Hope, Morgan, Zoe, Klaire and Garrison and great-grandchildren, Emma, Elaina, Ezra and Grayson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Cole and great-grandson, Christian. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Crossroads Open Air Sanctuary in Waverly, WV with Pastor Rock Wilson and Reverend Paula Keplinger officiating.Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
